01A simple routine
- Sheets and pillowcases: every week
- Duvet cover: every one to two weeks
- Duvet: two or three times a year
- Pillows: a few times a year, if the label allows
- Mattress protector: every month or two
02Signs it is time
- It smells stale even after airing
- You see yellow marks on the pillow under the case
- Someone in the house has allergies or has been ill
- It has gone flat or lumpy
03Why big duvets are hard at home
A king-size duvet often does not fit a home machine with room to move, so it comes out patchy. It also needs to dry right through: a damp centre can start to smell. Many feather and down duvets need a careful wash and long, low drying.
04Between washes
- Air the duvet on a sunny balcony for an hour, out of the dust
- Shake pillows and duvets every morning to keep them full
- Use pillow protectors under the cases
05Let us do the heavy lifting
We clean a single duvet for AED 45, a king for AED 55 and a pillow for AED 16. Bedding comes back in 48 hours.
